Patterning

We have been learning about patterns and the students have been making and finding them everywhere!

We set up provocations to see what patterns the students would make with the manipulatives. We then used our observations to decide what types of patterns we needed to teach directly through small and whole group instruction.

Students created many different patterns. They drew pictures and wrote about them.
