Farm Trip

We had the opportunity to attend Green Acres Camp for a farm trip! The students had many great opportunities while they were they to interact with various aspects of farm life. We have been working on retelling using words such as 'first', 'next', 'then', 'last' and 'finally', so the students have been writing about their experiences using these words.

First, we were able to interact with a variety of farm animals, such as a cow, goats, sheep, a lama, and chickens.

The goats were friendly!

So much excitement!

Next, we went on a tractor ride around the farm.

Then, we were introduced to two bunnies and we helped by weighing and packaging the eggs.

Last, we had the chance to milk a "cow" (it was not a real cow, but one set up to make the experience safe). 

And finally, the students played a game of mini-put.

It was a great day!
